📖 The Tempest
William Shakespeare (1564-1616) was an English poet, playwright, and actor, considered by many as the greatest English writer. Hundreds of specialists were able to translate his works into every major language, and most of the plays are performed more often than those of any other author. "The Tempest" traditionally considered one of the last Shakespeare plays. The plot of this tragicomedy revolves around the magician Prospero, the Duke of Milan, who was overthrown by his brother Antonio and the King of Naples, Alonso, and exiled from Milan. Both he and his daughter Miranda were put on an old ship and sent to the open sea, forcing them to go on a dangerous adventure.
