📖 Marie Antoinette

You end up feeling sorry for the be-headed queen of France in this children's biography, but I don't think it would greatly disturb any child who read it. Marie was a self-centered child (and her youth is the focus of this book), and she was never able to relate to her people, but this author gives her a sympathetic look. She never understood why the people disliked her, and in her coddled life, it's easy to see how that might happen.
