📖 Information Modeling for a FMS in Automotive Industry based on OPC UA. Automotive Manufacturing of the Future.

Interoperability holds a lot of importance in Industrial Automation. With a strong purpose to meet this requirement OPC Foundation worked to create OPC and OPC Unified Architecture (UA) specification. This state of the art specification is used as a framework within the thesis to enable to use its rich information modelling capabilities. OPC UA provides a solid background for interoperability to be used over the next decade and beyond.
